The H.E.Y Program

What are all children born with? A powerful desire to learn. Everything we do as parents and teachers must ensure that this powerful desire is kept alive. If there were one thing continually assessed it would be this desire.  Too many students leave with little to show for their time at school. Too many leave alienated and powerless. Why don’t you stop and think about what I just said... You can play a major role in keeping the powerful desire to learn alive by making a life changing decision right now. I’m not going to bore you with a long drawn out discussion that is a waste of your time. I’m going to provide you with an important piece of the puzzle to keep this desire alive. You can start by asking yourself how can you keep the desire to learn alive in the life of a child. What can you do to positively influence the life of a child? The answer is, you can make a donation to the H.E.Y Program. What is the H.E.Y Program? H.E.Y stands for Helping to Educate Youth, an educational program that allows students who are located in a low-socio economic area, a chance at expanding their education. With your help these students will receive academic intervention in their areas of weakness. Your donation will allow these children to get a quality education by a New York State Certified Teacher. Your donation helps provide a location where parents can bring their children for academic intervention services. Your donation helps provide free tutoring and test preparation for students. Your donation is also allocated towards, books, supplies, worksheets, practice test, test prep materials, learning incentives, online tutoring sessions, and more.  How do I know where my donation is going? Each student that benefits from your donation will send you a personalized thank you letter, which may include photos. We will give each student’s parents the name of the donor or donor’s organization. We will allow donors to share their names, but also respect their privacy if they choose to remain anonymous. So it's possible the student won't see the names for all of our donors.

Many of these children come from single parent families with one income. These children struggle daily with family, financial issues, crime, and somehow are able to keep their heads above water. We commend these children for their spirit and desire to learn. At Another Young Scholar Tutoring, LLC we need your assistance in helping these children achieve educational victory.
